Explorers
In Learning is truly
a learning center
as we incorporate
early childhood
programs consisting
of a special collection
of interactive learning
activities designed
to help children
acquire the skills
they need to be successful
in school. Our
childcare program
offers a variety
of enrichment for
children, including,
social, emotional,
intellectual, and
physical stimulation. This
period is critical
to development & growth. Full
days are provided
with a lunch and
two snacks.

Preschool & Pre
Kindergarten 3 yrs to 5yrs
Explorers
in Learning will truly be a

Summer
Camp (field trips are for
ages Pre-K and older)
We
offer
a
fantastic
good
time
during
the
summer
months
at
Explorers
In
Learning. We
offer
a
10-week
program
that
consists
of
field
trips
to
local
parks,
museums,
movies
and
other
areas
of
interest
for
ages
four,
five
and
up. Each
age
group
will
embark
on
a
new
adventure
every
week
through
curriculum
and
special
activities
at
the
school.
We
have
a
school
age
room
especially
dedication
to
enhance
the
summer
months!

Before & After
School 5 yrs to 12 yrs
We
offer an array of activities
and exciting adventures in our
Before & After
School program. Computers,
arts & crafts,
quiet homework time, and games
are just a few examples of the
activities your school-age child
will enjoy! Transportation
to and from select local schools
is provided as is an afternoon
snack. Available to children
five through twelve years of
age.

Enrichment
Programs
In
addition to our regular curriculum,
we encourage our teachers to
expand the children’s
learning with introductions to
Spanish & Sign
Language, as well as an increased
emphasizes on specific artists
and authors and their works. These
programs are included in the
weekly fee for full time students. Yoganastics
classes are also available at
special rates. Please
check with the front office for
availability.

Melody
Makers
Explorers in Learning has contracted a trained music specialist with a curriculum of songs, stories and lessons that emphasize character qualities such as honesty, sharing, kindness, etc. Catchy lyrics and melodies make learning easy. Singing with the guitar, puppets, stories, dancing, props, and playing instruments makes learning fun. This program is offered on Tuesdays for every classroom except Infants and is included in the price of your tuition.

Spanish
Our Spanish enrichment classes are educational and fun! The lessons are designed to incorporate all the learning styles of the children. The children experience Spanish through books, fun games, songs, and music & movement activities.
|
Art
Our art enrichment class introduces the children to various artists such as Eric Carle, Leonardo da Vinci, and Van Gogh. Basic art concepts such as lines, shapes, and colors are introduced. The children experiment with color and explore different textures and techniques. |
