Five year old children learn through hands on, stimulating and challenging experiences. Our curriculum follows the guidelines of the school district for Kindergarten. It is designed to meet your child’s needs intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. The curriculum areas include Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, Art, Music, and Physical Education. The teachers use a variety of methods to teach these content areas such as centers, small and large group instruction, and direct one to one instruction. Listed below are some skills that are covered while your child is in the Five Year Old Room, but they learn so much.
